Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. The nose is quite reserved with subtle black cherry, liquorice, clove and pepper scents. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of ripe red and black cherries alongside some liquorice, vanillin cedar and light spicy pepper. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe red and black cherries, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
