Matured for 12 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels. Magnificent colour saturation displaying a midnight black dark purple core with a deep very dark purple hue. The nose displays aromas of violets, ripe dark cherries and subtle liquorice followed by some inky earth like characters and spice. Medium bodied the palate has generous up front dark cherry flavours which overlay a touch of inky liquorice, earthy characters and spice. Dry finish with bright acidity and firm robust tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, inky liquorice, earth and spice. A very structured Malbec.
