A blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Malbec, 10% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot. Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a very dark purple hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry merge into some cedary cigar box characters with undertones of black olive, scorched earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a robust structure the palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherries overlaid by cigar box and black olives with scorched earth and spice characters in the background. Solidly built tannin structure. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cigar box, scorched earth and spice.
