2013 Bitsa Confundo Grenache Mataro

Produced from fruit sourced out of McLaren Vale and the Barossa. Very deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. Spicy dark raspberry and liquorice aromas merge into some tar and scorched earth scents. Ripe and juicy the palate features succulent flavours of dark raspberries, liquorice and plum over some scorched earth with a spicy finish. Ripe round tannins with a long aftertaste of dark raspberries, plum, liquorice and spicy scorched earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
