Matured for 18 months in French and American oak. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Subtle mulberry aromas are overlaid by tobacco and new leather characters with toasty cedar and spice following on. The palate is dominated by secondary flavours of toasty oak, leather and earth over hints of mulberry finishing dry, hard and spicy. Dry slightly chalky tannins. Modest aftertaste of toasty cedar, earthy leather and spice. Pass.
