2013 Ata Rangi Sauvignon Blanc

Twenty percent barrel fermentation has imparted a nice textural feel to this wine. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a very faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose opens with passionfruit aromas intermixed with herbaceous gooseberry followed by some green apple and lime. Vibrant passionfruit, green apple and lime flavours fill the palate followed by some citrus and mineral on the crisp crunchy finish. Long aftertaste of passionfruit, lime, green apple, mineral and light herbaceousness.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
