Shows very good depth with a dark red black tinged core and a dark red hue. Nosing reveals a ripe aromatic profile of dark cherries, dark plum and a hint of mint followed by spicy cedar. Straight forward light to medium bodied palate with flavours of dark cherries, anise, toasty cedar and spice. Lacks depth. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Moderate aftertaste of dark cherries, anise and spicy toasted cedar.
