2013 3 Rings Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe dried cherries and plum with a strong cedar overlay and spice end notes. Full bodied the palate has dried fruit characters intermixed with plum over a prominent cedary background followed by some spice. Solidly built tannin structure. Dry finish with a modest aftertaste of dried fruits, plum and spicy cedar. The dried fruit characters and prominent cedar detract from the overall quality of the wine.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
