2012 Xabregas Mount Barker Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and subtle dark chocolate are overlaid by toasty oak with peppery dried meat end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses rich blackberry, liquorice and black cherry flavours over a toasty oak component, dried meats and blackpepper. Dry, slightly chalky tannins. Rich chewy mouthfeel with an aftertaste of black cherries, dried meats, liquorice, toasty oak and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
