A blend of 84% Cabernet and 16% Merlot matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark crimson red hue. Top notes of blackcurrant overlay cigar box, black olive and spice. Medium to full bodied flavours of rich blackcurrant dominate the palate over a background of cedary cigar box, a trace of liquorice, black olive and spice. Sturdy yet fine grained tannins provide the support act. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary cigar box, black olive and spice.
