Luján de Cuyo, is known historically as the ‘prime zone’ for wine-growing in Mendoza. Its high elevation location, in combination with a semi-desert climate and low-nutrient gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation of high quality fruit.

Superb Fruit Purity & Richness

Matured for 17 months in a combination of French and American oak of which 32% was new, this wine pours an outstanding super saturated inky black colour with a very deep black crimson red hue. Intense aromas of black cherries, liquorice and ripe blackberries waft from the glass over a back drop of dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Decadently rich and lavish the palate boasts potent flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by some more subtle black cherry characters, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak. Good solid backbone with velvet like tannins and a very long ripe blackberry, liquorice, black cherry, vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc 14.9%

Lots of chocolate, walnut, and berry aromas with hints of toasted oak. Full body, with firm tannins and a juicy. Dark chocolate powder. Drink now.
