2012 Underground Cinnabar Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for two years. Semi translucent very dark red colour with a dark brick red hue. Aromas of stewed plum and macerated cherries are intermixed with a hint of anise and a prominent cedary component with spice end notes. The palate has flavours of macerated and dried cherries over cedar and spice. It’s drying out, lacks varietal character and is short. Fine grained drying tannins. Aftertaste of macerated cherries, dried cherries, cedar and spice.
