2012 Two Paddocks Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a light brick red hue. A perfumed bouquet of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and supple anise overlays background notes of meatiness and spicy cedar. Light in body the palate has a supple mouthfeel, good power and ample richness featuring flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum intermixed with a hint of anise followed by some dried meat characters and spicy cedar. Dry finish with very fine grained beautifully integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, subtle anise, meatiness and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
