2012 Turners Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged in French oak for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. The nose offers up ripe blackcurrant top notes with tobacco and subtle black olive notes also present over a back drop of earthy cedar and spice. Dry and earthy the palate has flavours of blackcurrant infused with earth and cedary tobacco characters followed by leathery black olive nuances and spice. Very dry finish with firm chewy tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olive, earthy cedar and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
