2012 Tscharke Barossa Grounds Collection Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

Deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. Black raspberry and black cherry aromas arise from the glass followed by a touch of liquorice, some subtle lavender and spice. A very Rhone like sniff. Light to medium weight the palate possesses generous spicy black raspberry and liquorice flavours followed by some subtle scorched earth with the spice persisting right through to the finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of black raspberry, liquorice and spicy scorched earth.
