Matured for 18 months in French and American oak. Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted scents of liquorice and ripe blackberries are followed by subtle dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Rich and velvety the palate features generous flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries, vanillin oak and spice. Silky smooth, plushly textured tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, subtle dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak.
