2012 Te Mata Estate Elston Chardonnay

This wine is produced from Te Mata’s oldest Chardonnay vines. Bright straw colour with some greenish tinges on the outskirts of the glass and a very pale straw hue. The nose reveals scents of white peach, cashew and spicy oak followed by hints of nougat with a toasty overlay. Medium weight and creamy in texture the palate the palate possesses flavours of white peach, spicy oak and citrus with some following cashew and nougat. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of cashew, white peach, subtle nougat and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
