Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and liquorice are followed by spicy earth notes. Medium weight this is a ripe fleshy Sangiovse featuring generous flavours of liquorice and black plum with some earth and spice on the back palate. Dryish finish. Soft very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plum, liquorice and spicy earth.
