2012 St Hallett Black Clay Shiraz

Saturated black purple colour with very deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays inky blackberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas which are a touch muted at present but will evolve further with time followed by some subtle vanillin confectionary and pepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous blackberry and liquorice flavours followed by some subtle vanillin confectionary and pepper. Very fine grained well integrated tannin structure. Dryish finish with medium to long liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and pepper aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
