2012 Small Gully Mr Black's Concoction Shiraz Viognier

A blend of 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark plums, ripe black cherries and liquorice over some spicy vanillin oak. Lush, rich and ripe the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of dark plum and liquorice followed by traces of dark chocolate and dried apricot with a very spicy finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Long opulent aftertaste of ripe dark plums, liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy dried apricot.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
