Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark brick red hue. Lifted aromas of black plum and liquorice are followed by some dark chocolate and vanillin oak. Full and rich the palate has a rounded opulent feel with generous flavours of ripe dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin oak. Soft velvety tannins and low acidity. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin oak.
