2012 Skillogalee Basket Pressed Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced liquorice aromas dominate the nose followed by ripe dark blackcurrant, dark choc mint, toasty oak and spice notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous flavours of blackberries and liquorice over some toasty chocolatey oak and mint. Relatively elegant mouthfeel with very fine grained tannins concluding with an aftertaste of choc mint, liquorice and spicy toasty oak.
