Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red purple hue. The nose offers up aromas of blackcurrant, stewed plum and liquorice with a cedary overlay and spice end notes. Medium weight the palate has blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice flavours alongside cedary infusions with some spice on the finish. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins with an aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and spicy cedar.
