Matured for 12 months in new and 2 year old French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted violet and ripe red cherry aromas alongside a touch of strawberry with undertones of stalk and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight and quite fruity the palate has flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberries followed by some fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red cherries, fresh herbs, light stalk and spicy cedar.
