2012 Seven Canoes Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red purple colour with a purple red hue. The nose shows good lift with aromas of dark plum and black cherries followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Medium bodied and ripe the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark plums interlaced with some anise followed by a spicy cedar finish. Good richness and depth with soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, anise and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
