2012 Seppelt Original Sparkling Shiraz

Excellent purple tinged frothy mousse that shows excellent hold. Opaque black dark red base wine colour with an exceptionally fine bead that shows good persistence. The nose displays ripe blackberry and dark plum top notes followed by hints of dark chocolate and vanillin confectionary. Rich and creamy the palate features opulent ripe blackberry, dark plum and chocolate bullet flavours over some toasty vanillin characters and subtle earth finishing quite dry. Aftertaste of ripe blackberries, subtle liquorice, dark plum, toasty vanillin oak and light earth.
