Deep dark red purple colour with crimson red purple hue. Nosing reveals scents of ripe dark raspberry and liquorice followed by some confectionary and spice. Medium weight but with excellent concentration and richness the palate possesses supplely textured flavours of ripe joosy black raspberries, dark plum and liquorice followed by some very subtle earthiness and a spicy finish. Velvet smooth soft tannins. Long aftertaste of black raspberry, liquorice, spice and subtle earthiness.
