Totally opaque black colour with a dark red black hue. Dark plummy liquorice aromas emerge from the glass over toasty vanillin oak and spicy blackpepper end notes. Full bodied with a luscious textural feel the palate is filled with liquorice and ripe dark plum tinged with dark chocolate over toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper. Fine grained tannins have an underlying sturdiness. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, dark plum, dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper.
