2012 Reilly's R Watervale Riesling

Fruit for this wine is predominantly sourced from an old Riesling vineyard planted in the 1960's. Brilliant very pale straw, almost water like colour with faint greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Vibrant and intense nose with scents of lemon and lime dominate intermixed with some orange rind followed by some talcy mineral end notes. Superb concentration with mouthfilling flavours of lime and lemon along with some orange rind and talc. Clean crisp mineral infused finish. Long lemon, lime, talc and mineral aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 4-5 years (2012-2017).
