Midnight black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aniseed, blackberry and black cherry aromas are intermeshed with toasty oak, earthy fennel and blackpepper notes. Rich aniseed and black cherry flavours flood the full bodied palate with scorched earth, vanillin cedar, fennel and blackpepper characters fleshing out the finish. Slightly dryish with polished tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
