2012 Pillar Box Shiraz

Totally opaque black red colour with a bright dark red black hue. The nose offers up liquorice aniseed like top notes followed by ripe blackberry and some black cherries over toasty oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with a joosy mouthfeel the palate features generous liquorice and blackberry flavours which overlay a backdrop of vanillin confectionary, light toasty cedar and spice. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, toasty vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
