2012 North Star Glenlossie 11 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A delicacy defines Glenlossie’s style, which is partly attributed to its stills that have been fitted with purifier pipes adding an oily texture to the spirit. Long fermentation promotes a grassiness in the make, which sounds like it's been retained in this high-octane example. Matured in four refill octaves. 61.1% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Wet gorse bush & Rhododendron. Palate: Olive stone, dried figs and granny smith apples. Finish: Oatcake dry... satisfying fancy grazing box.
