Totally opaque inky black purple colour with deep dark purple black hue. Ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by toasty oak followed by some confectionary and pepper end notes. Medium weight the palate is generous but a little disjointed at present with the toasty oak standing out a little too much. Black cherry and liquorice flavours are submissive to the toasty oak with some peppery back palate characters. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of toasty oak and blackpepper.
