Matured in a mixture of French and American oak with only the best barrels selected for the final blend this offers superb drinking over the next year or two.

A seductively rich and velvety McLaren Vale Shiraz that’s sitting in its prime drinking window.

Dense inky black core with a deep very dark red black tinged hue. The nose gives up pronounced liquorice, black cherry and blackberry aromas which are complimented by vanillin oak, scorched earth, hints of leather and blackpepper. Rich, plush and seductive the palate is layered with liquorice, dark plum and blackberry fruits which overlay a toasty vanillin oak, earthy mocha and blackpepper back drop. Possessing excellent power and velvety tannins it has an opulent yet refined feel. Cruises through to a long, silky smooth finish that sees pepper and subtle tertiary elements lending further complexity.
