2012 Nautilus Pinot Noir

Perfumed, supple, rich and long on flavour, this wine has all of the traits of great Pinot Noir.

Semi translucent dark red black tinged colour with a dark crimson red hue showing very good depth. Perfumed aromas of ripe dark cherries, violets, dark plums and anise entrance the senses with underlying meaty game like characters, subtlety toasted oak and spice. Light to medium weight the palate features excellent richness, a soft supple mouthfeel and a superb power wave. Mouthfilling flavours of dark ripe cherries and dark plums intermix themselves with a touch of anise followed by some meatiness and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Long dark cherry, dark plum, anise and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
