Deep dark red colour although not opaque with a dark red purple tinged hue. The nose exhibits aromas of liquorice, cloves, plum and spicy smoky oak. Very elegant and medium bodied at best the palate has flavours of cloves, plums, light liquorice and smoky oak. Very soft fine grained tannins and quite savoury aftertaste of cloves, plum, subtle liquorice and spicy oak.
