Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson black tinged hue. Aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice flow into the nostrils followed by some dark plum, very light toasty oak and confectionary. Rich blackberry and liquorice flavours are followed by some dark plum, confectionary and light vanillin oak on the medium to full bodied palate. Refined mouthfeel. Slightly dryish on the finish with well integrated velvety tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, vanillin oak and confectionary.
