Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Ripe black cherry, Morello cherry and liquorice aromatics are intermixed with earthy old leather, toasty cedar and spice notes. Rich Morello cherry and liquorice flavours overlay a backdrop of leather, earth and spicy oak. Medium to full bodied, drying out a touch on the finish with robust slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of Morello cherries, old leather, a touch of liquorice, earthy cedar and spice.
