2012 M.Chapoutier Tournon Mathilda Shiraz

Opaque black crimson red colour with purple crimson red hue. The nose displays youthful freshly crushed dark cherry and plum scents followed by some spicy cedar and inky pepper like characters. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark plums followed by some meaty earth like characters and spice. Soft mouthfeel with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, some meatiness and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
