Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted scents of black raspberry liqueur, black cherry, liquorice, scorched earth and spicy dried herbs. Ripe and joosy the palate has flavours of black cherry liqueur intermixed with liquorice and black raspberries over some vanillin cedar and subtle spicy scorched earth. Soft fine grained tannins with an opulent mouthfeel. Medium to long ripe black cherry, liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy earth aftertaste.
