Deep dark red black colour with bright purple red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry intermixed with bay leaf followed by some dusty cedar end notes. Medium bodied the palate is amply flavoured with blackcurrant and mulberry followed by some underlying cedar, very subtle bay leaf and spice. Dryish sturdy tannin structure with medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy cedar.
