2012 Lavau Cotes du Rhone

Made from a blend of 40% Syrah and 60% Grenache. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark raspberries and dark cherries are followed by hints of liquorice, earth, incense with spice end notes. Medium bodied the palate features spicy dark cherry and subtle liquorice flavours with light clove infusions followed by dried herb characters. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, light clove, dried herbs and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
