Matured for 2 years in French oak. Totally opaque black purple colour with a deep dark purple red hue. Lifted scents of ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberries emanate from the glass with underlying vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a velvety elegant mouthfeel the palate features flavours of dark plums, blackberries and liquorice over a backdrop of vanillin cedar and spice. Beautifully integrated very fine grained tannins. Finishes fresh with an aftertaste of dark plums, blackberries, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
