2012 Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Grenache Shiraz Mataro

Made from a blend of 51% Grenache, 39% Shiraz and 10% Mataro this Rhone style blend is now entirely sourced from the Clare Valley region.

Showing very good depth of colour the wine has a dark red black core with a dark crimson red purple hue. The nose offers up ripe black raspberry, dark plum and liquorice top notes followed by aromas of confectionary and spice. Joosy and inviting the palate boasts succulent black raspberry, liquorice and dark plum flavours followed by a touch of earth with a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long black raspberry, blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2017-2018).
