2012 Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Cabernet Sauvignon

Double Trophy winner at Clare Valley Wine Show for Best 2012 Cabernet & Best 2012 Dry Red

Matured in new and older small French oak casks for two years. Opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant intermixed with some liquorice and mulberry followed by some cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate shows strong varietal character possessing flavours of blackcurrant and mulberry followed by some cedar, light tobacco and spice. Slightly dryish but very fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2017-2018).
