Matured for 22 months in small French oak casks. Totally opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson black hue. The nose offers up aromas of blackcurrants, mulberry and tobacco followed by cedar and spice. Solid robust mouthfeel with flavours of blackcurrants and mulberries to the fore followed by tobacco characters and spicy cedar. Dryish finish with slightly chewy tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of mulberries, tobacco, cedar and spice.
