Opaque black dark purple colour with dark purple hue. On the nose aromas of blackcurrant and dark cherry are intermixed with some bay leaf characters followed by some spicy cedary tobacco. Medium to full bodied the palate displays a rich profile of ripe blackcurrants, a touch of bay leaf, cedar, light tobacco and spice. Very fine grained tannins. Good depth with long rich blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco and spice aftertaste.
