2012 Hutton Vale Farm Grenache Mataro

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark brick red hue. Aromas of dark plum jam and dark raspberry sit alongside a hint of liquorice with ensuing earth and spice notes. Full bodied the palate is flooded with succulent ripe dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours followed by some vanillin confectionary, faint earth and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power and depth finishing with a long aftertaste of ripe dark raspberries, liquorice, vanillin confectionary and spice.
