2012 Howard Park Miamup Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose shows good intensity with aromas of blackcurrant infused with bay leaf and cedar nuances followed by some tobacco and spice end notes. Medium bodied the palate has good richness with mouthfilling blackcurrant flavours intermixed with cedary tobacco and mulberry followed by a hint of bay leaf and spice. Slightly dryish but perfectly balanced very fine grained tannins. Long blackcurrant, spicy cedar, tobacco and light bay leaf aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
