2012 Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson black tinged colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Showing excellent intensity lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries intermixed with a hint of sour cherries and a touch of stalkiness are followed by some light cedar and spice. Light to medium bodied the palate features a savoury profile of dark cherries and plums with some underlying sour cherries, light stalkiness and spicy cedar. Excellent power wave. Soft supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Long dark cherry, plum, sour cherry and spicy cedar aftertaste. Cellar 5-6 years. Alc 13.5%
